Interfaith Hospitality Network of York County (IHNYC) is a local
not-for-profit organization that provides meals, shelter, support
services, and life skills training f
Our vision is that parents and children leave our
program better equipped to meet life’s challenges. Our goal is that
homeless families resume and maintain self-sufficiency and
independence in permanent housing. The families at IHNYC are like any other family, except that they are experiencing severe economic hardships. Usually, one or both parents are employed or have recently lost a job. Families have been living day-to-day until some event worsens their situation. Soon, parents and children find themselves without a place to live. |
