Help at IHNYC Day Center
The IHNYC Day center is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days
per week. There is a great need for volunteer assistance of all
types during operating hours and weekend volunteers are
especially needed.
Listed below are some specific needs:
- Transportation Assistants
- Office help (filing, computer work, copying, etc.)
- Family & Child Care Helpers
- General cleaning of the Day Center
- Repair and Maintenance of Day Center
- Help moving families into Housing
- Weekend Activities Coordination
- Tutoring help for children
- Family Mentor
- Repair & Maintenance of family’s vehicles |
